In the collection of I.V. Koretskaya and B.V. Mikhailovsky symbolist artists are represented most consistently. "The mournful, sophisticated Bogaevsky" - the artist, who grew up on the "sad land" of Kimmeria, is drawing "Paradise, which existed before the creation of man." His
paintings "Night. Sudak "(1908) and the "Altars" (1913) very precisely correspond epithets given by M. Voloshin.
